Founder - Transcend Hope CBO

In my formative years I grew up in rural Kenya and as such I experienced poverty and its scourge during my early days in school. Going to school without a cup of tea not to mention a slice of bread was not an experience but a daily endurance. Growing up I saw what the members of my community went through for example: poor sanitation, the aged being neglected, children not able to attend classes due to lack of school fees and sanitary towels for girls, those physically challenged neglected and degradation of the environment by rampant cutting down of trees, all these but just to mention a few. By being exposed to all the above mentioned vagaries of life a strong sense of purpose was born in me. This has been a guiding beacon that lead to the establishment of Transcend Hope CBO. The aim of the CBO is to help in career guidance and talent development of Children from poor backgrounds, empowerment of women in the rural setting, supporting the elderly and people living with disabilities, mitigating the factors that affect climate change. On behalf of Transcend Hope CBO, I welcome you all to join us in this noble endeavor. Together we can.
